Today we went to Symmons Plains for Day 2 of the V8 Supercars. The girls loved it and although they walked from one end to the other they didn't complain once. Not even about the weather when the wind cut up rough and the rain came down. They had a ball sitting on the fence near the Falken Bridge. During the last half an hour before the 1st V8 Supercars race we were entertained by a spectacular airshow.
Race 1 was taken by Todd Kelly in the Jack Daniels Commodore. We watched the end of the race on the big screen in the Corporate box thanks to Telstra. Got inside before the rain pelted down.
It was a great day and I'm going to book accommodation this week for next years event. Can't wait til tomorrow for Day 3.
