We were up fairly early for a saturday. Everything was packed and ready to go into the car. Got the kids ready and hit the road. Called in and picked up Grandma on the way and headed for St Helens. We got there just before lunch and our first trick was to smoke the house out. There was smoke coming from every spot possible on the stove. Once we got that sorted out and the car unpack we had lunch and then decided that instead of moving the lawns on the saturday that we'd go for a drive to Pyengana to the cheese factory and to see St Columbia Falls.
Had a look and did some shopping at the cheese factory on th way up just in case we didn't make it back before closing time - but we did. After our walk into the falls we headed back the cafe for drink before heading home. The kids had a milkshake and played in the park and saw all the cows lined up ready for milking.
Sunday was a slow start to the day but the lawns were mowed and the house tidied up before we packed the car and head home. Grandma made a lovely butter chicken for lunch and we enjoyed it even if the kids didn't eat too much!
