On Saturday afternoon, once the girls had finished dancing we packed up and went to Melbourne for the night. Our initial idea when I booked the flights was to go to the NAB cup grandfinal - however that became a big disappointment when it ended up being played in Adelaide. So we enjoyed the Night at the Sebel in Albert Park and spent the day at Bridget and Dean's on the Sunday getting aquainted with their new family addition.
Louis was only a week old and boy did Ayla think she was pretty special having a cuddle all on her own. Dean's Parents were still in Australia and it was great to catch up with them too. Dean and John spent most of the day talking computers. Later on in the afternoon we had a visit to the Essendon DFO and then we took a drive down town to the Exhibition Centre to check out the Melbourne Car show. And that's when I decided that the new Commodore Sports wagon is what we will eventually have parked in the driveway.
