This morning we had some very excited kids when they finally woke up and realised that Easter Bunny had been. Ayla quietly left her room and found a couple of bags and a trail of little Easter Eggs down the passage. She wasn't too fussed and went back to her room where she found her new dressing table that we had bought for them for easter. A few minutes later she came upstairs to let us know that Easter Bunny had been. So once she had dragged us back down stairs, she attempted to wake Zoe up - however Zoe wasn't having a bar of that until Ayla mentioned the magic words Easter Bunny has been. It was then that she jumped out of bed to go and have a look. They followed the trail down the passage to the back door and spotted more eggs outside.
They rushed outside in the dark to find a few more hidden eggs that were slightly bigger in size, but that didn't last long before they were both frozen from the cold and Zoe started coughing like mad. So they came back inside put their dressing gowns on and their Gumboots and headed back outside for another go.
It was excitement plus and chocolate galore, but at least the sun had come up a big more.....
