Johnson Holiday Day 4

29th December

Today we headed off from Sydney just before 10am with our destination being Coffs Harbour!

We were doing really well until we tried to merge with the traffic onto the Princes Hwy. This took us nearly an hour to get moving - why do these people have so much trouble with merging traffic. The Hwy was bumper to bumper and we were lucky to get up to 20km/hour at some points and then all of a sudden we started moving - that went really well for about another hour when we hit another merger issue because of road works at the Tea Gardens. Another hour wasted with traffic at a standstill when they merged from two lanes to one. Well once we got underway and out of the hussle and bussle - we were head for Coffs Harbour really well!

The night before John was having a look for the address to put into Destinator and the only place near Coffs Harbour he could find a Grafton Street was at Nana Glen which was 26 kms off the main hwy. When we left the highway things just didn't seem right - so we rang the hotel when we managed to find some phone service (near impossible in Coffs Harbour). They were actually on the main hwy just a few kms into Coffs Harbour and two blocks from the main shopping street of town.

Well we got there and unloaded and relaxed for the rest of the evening - we had wireless broadband but unfortunately we can't send email out.
