Johnson Holiday Day 26

20th January
Today we actually got a bit of a sleep in! The girls didn't wake up until after 8am. And much to thier disgust I couldn't find any cartoons on the TV! Tomorrow morning will be better - they will have ABC kids to watch. We had a little visitor on our from balcony as well - a magpie took a short break and dried its wings before moving on.

Unfortunately we woke up to rain - it was another miserable day - but because we had such a slow start to the day (I spent ages uploading pics to my blog!!) the day disappeared rather quickly. The girls were happy to watch DVD's and play with their toys. It was after 1pm when we went down the street to get some lunch. We needed to get some money as well as we needed coins to operate the washing machines and clothes dryers.

After lunch we went for a drive and found Jim and Pam's place but there didn't appear to be anyone home, the gates were shut and there wasn't any movement about the place. So we headed back to the caravan park and I embarked on the laundry!

The washing machines didn't take long to do a cycle and the clothes dryers took even less time. The girls watched TV for a bit and at one stage John had to bring them down in the rain to see where I was.

It wasn't long after I got back with everything washed and dried, that the rain stopped and the girls went outside and rode their scooters for a while. Right little socialites they are - will talk to any other kids that will stop long enough to say hello to.

John went down to the supermarket to get a few things for tea and while he was gone I did the ironing. The while he cooked tea - I packed all the clothes and toys up ready to hit the road again in the morning.
