Today we were going to go to Cooktown, but we were advised against it because of the rainfall. So we decided to head south for a drive to Cairns and decided that we would take the girls to the pictures. The Bee Movie was on so we settled on that and in we went. Zoe was good until about the last 20 minutes and wouldn’t sit down.

When we got back we went for a swim and spent nearly two hours in the pool. Zoe walked off the ledge of the shallow end and went straight under. It took us a few minutes to get her back in the pool but she was ok after a while. Ayla is going under the water without any problems at all now – just got to work on her confidence with floating and the co-ordination of kicking her legs. We will certainly be going back to swimming lessons when we get back to Tassie!
